Our Vision
Discover Our Vision to Inspire Markham’s Creative Future
Opportunities for youth under 18 to showcase their artwork are rare, yet the need for creative outlets is strong. GalleryBox responds to this gap as a youth-initiated public art project in Markham, envisioning a city where every neighbourhood offers a small but meaningful space to celebrate young creativity. By placing curated gallery boxes in commercial areas, parks, schools, and other public spaces, we give emerging artists the chance to share their voices and inspire their communities.
At its heart, GalleryBox is about accessibility, pride, and artistic empowerment. We are committed to fostering connection and imagination—one box at a time—while nurturing the next generation of creative leaders and transforming everyday places into vibrant platforms for artistic expression.
